William Allen
Mr. Allen is the founder and president of
Global Markets Consultants, Ltd. Primarily focusing on international
financial services, Global Markets Consultants, Ltd. provides consulting
and executive education in the areas of derivatives, corporate finance,
mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, risk management, and
asset/liability management for a number of major banks, securities firms,
multinational corporations, and institutional investors around the world.
Mr. Allen, along with his father, is also involved in a separate
specialised mergers and acquisitions consulting practice.
Before founding the firm, Mr. Allen was a senior associate consultant with
Sherbrooke Associates in Boston, Massachusetts. Previous to his involvement in
consulting, Mr. Allen worked with J.P. Morgan in various securities and
derivatives trading, arbitrage, hedging, and marketing activities in London and
New York.
Mr. Allen pursued MBA and doctoral studies in
international banking and capital markets at the Harvard Business School.
He received the Elijah Watts Sells Award and the John S. Glenn Gold Medal
for outstanding performance on the Certified Public Accountants (CPA)
examination while he was with Ernst and Whinney, an international
accounting firm. At the same time, he was awarded the Robert Beyer Bronze
Medal for outstanding performance on the Certified Management Accounting
(CMA) examination. Mr. Allen also earned the professional designation of
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) while serving as the chief financial and
investments officer of Rhodes College.
Steven Knight
Steven
Knight is a senior consultant with Global Markets Consultants, Ltd. focusing on
the areas of corporate finance, financial modeling, valuation, and mergers &
acquisitions. Before joining Global
Markets Consultants, Mr. Knight ran his own financial training consulting
practice, designing and delivering corporate finance entry-level and executive
education programs. Prior to
becoming a consultant, Mr. Knight was a Vice President at JP Morgan & Co.
where he worked for over eight years, first in the Mergers & Acquisitions
Department, and then as global head of the Investment Banking Training Group.
Earlier, Mr. Knight spent three years at Merrill Lynch & Co.
executing mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions for a wide range
of industrial clients.
Mr. Knight earned a BA in Economics from Boston College, graduating from
the Honors Program and earning the distinction of Scholar of the College.
He earned an MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth
College.
Christopher Danielewski
Christopher Danielewski,
a Managing Director with Global Markets Training and its parent organization
Global Markets Consultants, Ltd., specializes in the areas of foreign
exchange, money markets, derivatives and fixed income products.
Before joining Global Markets Consultants, Ltd., Mr.
Danielewski managed capital markets businesses for Citibank, Credit Agricole
Indosuez and Calyon, Credit Agricole’s Corporate and Investment Bank. During a
twenty year career at Citibank Mr. Danielewski held a number of senior
positions. He was responsible for all trading and sales activity in the Citibank
Paris trading room for FX, Derivatives, Bonds and Money Markets, managed the
Emerging Markets FX trading team in New York and was co-head of Citigroup New
York’s Corporate Foreign Exchange Sales. He later joined the Credit Agricole
group, first as head of capital markets for the U.S. based in New York and later
as the head of fixed income products for Central and Eastern Europe based in
Warsaw. Throughout his career, Mr. Danielewski has been involved with training
initiatives as a trainer and manager in the U.S. as well as various countries
around the world.
Mr. Danielewski completed his undergraduate education at
The Johns Hopkins University and received a Masters in International Economics
and Political Science from the The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School
of Advanced International Studies(SAIS). He is fluent in English, French, and
Polish.
